Earlier today we overheard the police, who came to let out the dog of the RV next to us, say something of them getting stuck in a landslide. Our RV neighbors returned later that day with bruised and torn legs. I was relieved that they were still alive. He and his wife and several other people were hiking one of the hikes in our list of hikes to take. According to his calculations, had they been only three seconds off they would have slipped away with the landslide of rocks, which, after a loud crack, came tumbling down the canyon walls. Helicopters lifted them out of the canyon as the return trail was no more. (It was one of the hikes that you go along the face of the canyon wall holding onto a chain). I am so thankful that I have no fear in adventuring, because I am confident that the LORD is before me and around me. He does not let anything happen, that He is not going to work for the good. Don’t worry I won’t try anything (really) stupid.
