This week we had one beautiful and sunny day. So to take advantage of it, as soon as Dad got off work we set off to climb the Beehive Trail. It was both a beautiful and fun hike. We climbed up the steep rocky face of the mountain with the aid of of metal foot/hand holds set in the rock. It was slightly disappointing to have such an easy way out, but it would have been very treacherous, not to mention dangerous, if they were not there. We summited it just before sunset and a strong wind was blowing. It was beautiful to view the endless sea, mountains, and turning trees from above while we watched the sun set. The Lord has made such amazing scenery! It is so wonderful!
