The pictures say it all…well, almost. Today, we hiked up to Observation Point. It was a 8 mile round trip with 2200 feet in elevation gain. We started at 7am in hopes to make it up the rocky slope before the sun beat the energy out of us (it was supposed to be 96 degrees). We made it up in just under two hours — maybe at the end of the trip we will be ready for Mt. Shasta!
The canyon walls are unbelievably massive. The pictures just don’t do it justice.
